String

I was sure this hiatus would be even longer than previous gaps, but being unemployed does rather help build up the buffer a lot quicker than would normally be the case. Got enough in the tank until August, if you can believe it!

So I’m happy to announce that Chapter Seven, “Nostalgia Goggles“, will begin this Tuesday, 23rd April! Drop in every Tuesday and Friday for new updates!

As Nancy Brilligan and her kid sidekick Simar Qareen flee London to escape the grasp of Carol Derrider and her army of goons, Si at last confronts Nancy and demands she explain what really happened to Si’s best friend Alice – as she knows Nancy somehow caused her disappearance from reality and in a way is responsible for the mess they’re now in. Nancy takes Si back to the beginning, back to her own childhood in the dim and distant past of 2003, and how an improbable tragedy set her on the path to becoming the Fearless Defender of Relativity against the Malign Forces of Randomness.

Many of you will be coming into Nancy’s adventures for the first time with this chapter, and with nearly five hundred pages to slog through asking you lot to catch up in time for the new chapter to begin is going to be a bit unreasonable – and so I’ve prepared a Primer on the “About the Comic” page to bring you to up to speed and cover anything a speed-read may have missed. Be warned, spoilers abound!
