Nancy tugs her phone off the wires and rolls it around in her palm, too distracted to notice Alice pick her phone up off the floor.
NANCY: Hope I didn’t teleport you far. You go to some fancy boarding school or something?
ALICE: Baden-Powell Academy? Nah, iss jus’ a...regular school in Hackney.
NANCY: Ain’t never heard of a regular school call itself an “academy”, princess, but whatever helps you sleep at night. You okay getting home? I need to figure out what went wrong here.

Same view. Nancy’s attention is wrenched by the Samsung smartphone that lights up in Alice’s hand.
ALICE: Uhhh…suuurrre. Think I can Google Map it.
ALICE: Soon’s I gets a signal, any’ow.
ALICE: Oi, y’better stiff up the funds t’get me an uber, Doctor Strange-

Nancy snaps the phone up from Alice’s hand, to her surprise.
NANCY: What in the sam hell is this thingamabob?
ALICE: A…phooone?
NANCY: This ain’t a phone, this is a 2001 monolith!
NANCY: …who’s President?

Alice, growing more and more uncomfortably nervous, is framed by their two phones. Next to the, as far as Nancy knows, cutting-edge top-of-the-line Nokia flip-phone, the Samsung smartphone may as well be from outer space.
ALICE: Donald Trump?
NANCY: Prime Minister?
ALICE: Boris Johnson?
NANCY: Are you really from the future are you just picking joke answers from panel shows?
ALICE: Wozza “panel show”?
Panel 5:
Nancy absent-mindedly tosses the phone for Alice to juggle while she ponders some deep truths. Off-panel, a shadow grows from the door.
NANCY: Right, now I know you’re from the future.
NANCY: This.
NANCY: Presents.
NANCY: Problems.
NANCY: Which we should drop everything and focus on solving before we caaaaaaa-

Nancy notices the shadow being cast by a cricket bat held over her head. Alice grips her phone tighter.
NANCY: -aaaaaan I help you at all?
TERRY: You meddle with powers you do not understand, agents of chaos!
