Been putting pedal to the metal getting enough pages in the buffer to get this comic updating again, and having got the last page in under the wire for my self-imposed deadline I am ecstatic to announce that Chapter Eight of “String”, “The New Firm“, launches tomorrow on Tuesday 1st July!

Drop in every Tuesday and Friday to follow Nancy Brilligan, the Fearless Defender of Relativity against the Malign Forces of Randomness, alongside her violin-superpowered kid sidekick/kidnap victim Simar Qareen, as they journey north to my other favourite city in the whole wide world: Glasgow!

To get a better gauge on the adversaries who exiled them from London, Nancy and Si must form an uneasy alliance with a local chancer and scallywag, Rab Q Reiver of the “Don’t Fear The Reiver” Paranormal Detective Agency. He introduces our heroes to Glasgow’s delights: its grid system, its renovated granite tenements, its Buckfast, its intractable sectarian divide, and much much more! But they’d better watch out, because their nemesis Carol Derrider is not far behind, and she has her own plans for expanding her dominion beyond the M25.
