On 15-16 November 2025 WIP Comics will be showcasing its annual anthology at the Thought Bubble indie comics festival taking place at the Harrogate Convention Centre (oop in That Yorkshire). This year’s anthology, “Infinity“, will feature physical and digital contributions from yours truly!

You can find the WIP Comics table at F11 in the Bubbleboy section. Be sure to check out all the other fantastic works from the WIP Comics crew!

Unfortunately I won’t be attending in person, but that just leaves more time to meet all my other marvellous friends tabling and skulking about the convention hall.

And that’s not all! For this weekend at Thought Bubble will mark the debut of M.O.D.S. Issue Two. Follow the continuing adventures of this dysfunctional trio of former kid detectives as they tackle their greatest mystery yet!

No worries if you can’t make it to Yorkshire to grab a copy of either of these handsome 32-page colour comics, as they are also available to buy via my website! You can buy Issues One and Two individually or both together for a discounted price!

Rollicking back to String, the urban fantasy webcomic that started it all, every new page of this chapter will have a high resolution version available exclusively to higher-tier backers of my Patreon here! Even higher donors will receive high-quality PDFs of all previous chapters! Even if you only lob in a small donation, every little helps to keep this comic running!

For those of you encountering Nancy’s adventures for the first time, the over five hundred pages it’s taken to get here is likely going to be a bit intimidating – which is why I’ve prepared a Primer on the “About the Comic” page that will take you through the first six chapters in the blink of an eye. Spoilers within!

But if you don’t mind starting Nancy Brilligan’s exciting adventures from the beginning without any shortcuts, you can catch up with Chapters One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six and Seven! Come here for a fancy wallpaper or a String-themed playlist, which you can also find below:

And if you fancy stuff I’ve made that’s not String or M.O.D.S., take a gander at Rosie’s Journey, a storybook I wrote way back when for my niece. And if you’d like something new and exciting I’m available for commission or hire on my own website!

In the meantime, join us right here every Tuesday and every Friday for new adventures in the String!
