Chapter 3 – Page 006
You can’t really see much of the newspaper the duo are bandying about, so here’s a full version for your viewing pleasure:

Patience & Armitage are a journalistic duo from some other London-based stories I’ve written, so I’m happy they’re still getting work in someone else’s fictional universe.

Panel 1:
Nancy’s picked up the paper and is studying it in detail. Si rolls her eyes.
NANCY: “TFL bosses could not explain the continued delays to Bond Street Station’s Crossrail development to the GLA Transport Committee.”

NANCY: “Despite consistent efforts to redirect resources to the troubled project, construction crews at the Bond Street site continue to be understaffed.”
Panel 2:
Same view. Si is struggling to see what Nancy’s driving at.
SI: Is that important, or…?
NANCY: Think about it, they try their best to send full teams and they end up with less staff than they started with.
SI: Yeah? That’s London for ya.
Panel 3:
Same view. Nancy is pinching her nose in disbelief while Si’s brain is overheating.
