In an instant Nancy transforms into a wild beast, slapping Si with awful unforgivable force so hard her mask splits off.
NANCY: DON’T
NANCY: TOUCH
NANCY: ME
Panel 2:
In another instant the mist clears and Nancy realises with horror what she’s done. Si is stunned, cheek reddened, eyes wide, incapable of processing what just happened.
Panel 3:
Same view. Nancy has clapped her hands together in prayer and is spilling her heart out while Si breaks down, inconsolable.
NANCY: …okay I realise what I just did was wrong and evil and unforgivable and saying “sorry” isn’t going to cut it in a million billion years and if you leave me forever and go to the police that would be totally justified and I would absolutely deserve everything that’s thrown at me but I want you to know that if you stay I’ll do everything in my power to make up for it and will never ever ever do anything remotely that stupid ever again as long as I live-

Si flees, in tears. Nancy slumps to the ground defeated.
NANCY: -god damn it.

Same view. Nancy, alone, doesn’t budge a muscle.

Same view. Nancy buries her face in her hands.
