Nancy is knocked back through the double doors leading to the main assembly chamber.
Panel 2:
Desks and podiums are caught up in the flurry as Nancy regains her footing and tries to beat back the Great Game.
Panel 3 (wide):
The tendrils gather, forcing Nancy back to the very back behind the mayor’s podium, nothing behind her except a sheer drop. She’s trapped.
NANCY: Si, whatever you’re planning, it’d better be now.
Panel 4:
Back in the lobby, Maleko is insensible and enraged. Si, meanwhile, is scrabbling up around the lobby making slow, careful steps towards Maleko.
Panel 5:
Closeup. Si girds herself. It all comes down to this.
