Thank you for getting this flashback episode on the road, Si, it would have been a very boring chapter if it was just two fugitives in a train cabin not talking to each other.

Si continues to stand there, enraged beyond reckoning.
NANCY: I get it, it’s stuffy, these train companies seal the windows to ensure the measured circulation of anaesthetising gas, but there are easier ways of letting fresh air in-!
SI: You stole Alice!
SI: It woz you all along!
Panel 2:
Nancy is caught in a lie she can’t escape and she knows it.
SI (off-panel): I suffered from yer mistake! And ya knew youz done it the moment we met!
SI (off-panel): All this time, pretending ta help me, when youz just wanted ta cover up yer guilt fer ruining our lives!
SI (off-panel): So if I dun’t hear nuffing but the total truth coming outta yer gob, I’m getting offa this train and getting me answers from the crazy bint wot used ta be my friend till you turned up!
Panel 3:
Same view. Nancy slumps, defeated.
NANCY: …
NANCY: …alright.
NANCY: Alright, y’got me. Nothing but the total truth.
Panel 4:
Si stands by the door, focused.
NANCY (off-panel): Just…can you shut the door, please? It’s hard to confess thy sins while experiencing wind chill.
Panel 5:
Same view. Si strums and the door slams shut.
INTERFACE: EMERGENCY CLOSE
Panel 6:
Si advances, arms crossed, commanding the room. Nancy kneels, ceding authority.
SI: Talk.
NANCY: It’s kind of a long story, where do you want me to start?
SI: You turned Alice into Derrider. How, and why?
