A new chapter begins! This is going to be an important one lore-wise as the adventure-of-the-week takes a back seat to the developing situation with Pandora, the Yeomanry and Carol Derrider. Always apropos is the kid-friendly Saturday-morning subject of police brutality.

Canary Wharf, night. Lights twinkle in the gloom. Inane social media chatter fills the airwaves.
Ilikecrepes: are clowns bourgeois? asking for a friend
Nepharious_Nocturne: stood up at the concert. Screw him. Never trust a guy whose ringtone is trip-hop
charles1969: who remembers Turkish Delight? Country’s going down the drain
Racewar1488: hey peeps so i told mum wot peterson told me to say an now im getting kicked out did i say it wrong?
The_Bee_Blunts: So get this, right - there’s this buncha performers in real cool costumes who do the samba through Canary Wharf every night and jump into the dock, an i never once seem em climb out.
Panel 2:
Round the back of the harbour exchange, a young woman is vaping and leaning against the wall, checking her phone distractedly.
MaeveDustnugget: you witnessed a suicide and didn’t tell anyone? You monster.
The_Bee_Blunts: no, idiot, it was obviously part of the act. I never seen anyone move like them, they were like those TikToks where people act like cartoons. Woulda taken pics but phone was outta charge.
KantianMethod: Convenient.
The_Bee_Blunts: I think it was like a commentary on colonialism cuz these were the docks all the slave ships were at. That right?

Closer in, the woman, Zoe Moffet, is getting a tad impatient.

The_Bee_Blunts: unironically yes. 1:50am Harbour Exchange if you don’t believe me.

Unnoticed by Zoe, the end of the street has grown slightly lighter.
ZOE: Heh. Add some text to that cat covered in bolognese sauce. “I don’t-a eat-a the meatballs! Mussolini did-a nothing wrong! Ohhh!”
ZOE: Making fun of Italians is never problematic.
Panel 5:
Same view. Zoe starts and drops here phone as the entire street comes alive.
SFX: phweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
