Why yes, Nancy, psychology is in fact an actual science with data and stuff.

And just to practice what I preach, I’m going to go ahead and give a TRIGGER WARNING for unprovoked violence on the next page. I sincerely apologise in advance.

Panel 1:
Si gets irritable while Nancy aggressively concentrates.

SI: Sod’s sake, yanno wot I mean! Y’can’t jus’ whack yer psychomologycoccal problems wif a bat and make ‘em go away, it dun’t work like that!

NANCY: Since when did you become such an authority on mental health?

Panel 2:
Si reminisces, eyes downcast.

SI: …I’m not.

SI: My pitā is. He has to be in his line of work.

SI: Yanno wot he told me? ‘Bout head problems? “It’s never over.”

NANCY: Of course not, then the Illuminati can’t sedate the populace with a never-ending supply of pills and grow fat on the proceeds.

Panel 3:
Si is severely pissed at the insinuation and Nancy is severely pissed at being put on the spot.

SI: You callin’ my dad a crook, Nancy Brilligan?!

NANCY: What do you expect me to say?! My whole adult life, a production-line of quacks with an alphabet soup of letters after their names have been testifying to all and sundry that I’m crazy!

NANCY: Forgive me for taking that personally!

Panel 4:
Si’s anger turns to pity. This subject is clearly a sore spot for Nancy.

NANCY (off-panel): Do you see any of them defending London from quantum madness? No! You don’t! The whole world shuts their ears to the truth and lets the evildoers take relativity for a ride!

NANCY (off-panel): Seems to me they’re the crazy ones, not I! I’m the only one who isn’t!

Panel 5:
Same view. Si comes to a revelation.

SI: …

SI: …Nancy…

SI …my sister in Muhammed, even you can’t seriously believe you’re sane.

Panel 6:
Nancy focuses through her binoculars as Si reaches out for a poke.

NANCY: Believe what you want, I am a completely centred individual with no outstanding issues.

SI: Really? So you won’t freak out if I poke your skin anywhere…?

Panel 7 (inset):
Si’s finger prods Nancy’s cheek. Green cracks fracture a blue surface.
